I am confused. As a member of the North American Membership team, are you saying that the publicized efforts are a smoke screen to increase revenue, and have no benefit to the Clubs?
Rotary International, an international association of Rotary clubs, is a business. I am only advocating that the clubs are Rotary International's only customers and that RI's top priority should be serving their customers, which is the top priority of all successful businesses.
